The Effect of COVID-19 on Transportation Services
Our top concern has always been that passengers arrive at their destinations quickly, comfortably, and as safely as possible. With the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to assure passangers that our drivers, mechanics, and other staff are taking all available precautions while we provide transportation services during this time.
Due to the limitations on public transit, we’re more committed than ever to help our communities by providing safe, clean rides to our passengers in this difficult time.
How We Minimize Risk to Passengers and Drivers
We take COVID-19 precautions very seriously, and have provided our drivers and staff with training and tool kits to ensure the safety of drivers and passengers. We’ve put the following procedures in place:
- Each driver is given a specialized tool kit for their vehicle that includes antibacterial solutions, gloves, masks, and wipes that will be continuously restocked.
- New training and instructions have been provided on how to clean vehicles after every ride, thoroughly and completely, inside and out.
- Any driver who believes they’re at risk or may have been exposed to COVID-19 will suspend work immediately and the vehicle will be decontaminated.
- Employees exhibiting any cold- and flu-like symptoms are told to stay home as a preventative measure.
Utilizing Bactakleen Fumigation in our Vehicles
Due to the impact of COVID-19, individual transportation services are more critical than ever.
To keep our vehicles clean and in an attempt to prevent the spread of coronavirus, we’ve procured Bactakleen air treatment solutions. The Bactakleen Ultra Mist uses a vehicle’s air filtration system to fumigate the entire interior, including places that are otherwise impossible to clean. This helps to eradicate bacteria and viruses on virtually all surfaces of the vehicle and the air inside.

Working Together to Stay Healthy
As a transportation company, we have a duty to ensure the health of you and your driver. While we will continue to provide transportation services, we ask that you follow your region’s health and safety guidelines; taking care to wash your hands thoroughly and stay out of contact with large groups as much as possible. If any passengers believe they may be at risk or exposed to COVID-19, we ask that you inform us so that we can continue to keep everyone healthy and safe.
